what time is it?
9th grader (without phone):
I don’t know. (analog clock 20’ away).
Me: look at the clock.
9th grader: crickets.
Me: What time is it?
9th grader: crickets.
Me: do you know how to tell time?
9th grader: no
Me: why not?
9th grader: because i don’t want to

TEACHING MOMENT!
Me: ok everbody gather around we are going over time and yes military time as well!

All kids: awww miss Laura

Me: hehehe…love yawl

Kids: 24

Me: YES!!! (Phew)
