Temptations

Lunch catering for 50 out the door at 10:00. Dinner of meatloaf, seasoned red skin potatoes, corn and green beans for 200 is cooking. Delivery at 4:00. Great group that I've catered for the last 16 years. Just me and the radio today. The old gal can still get it done.

Update. At 10am today this wonderful community has donated enough to cover 381 meals.

And again this community comes thru. As of right now there has been enough donated to provide hot 224 meals. You can check out my earlier post if you're interested in helping or just to see what we're doing. Again thank you from the bottom of my heart.

So many people have reached out to me about helping with meals for families that have been displaced or suffered great loss from the flood. I am going to do what I've done in the past. For $4.00 (my cost for a meal of chicken n noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans/ corn and a cookie. I will provide vouchers to the local organizations to give to anyone in need. That way they can use it whenever they need it which might be at a later date when a meal might be just what they need to help out some evening. No pressure but if you want to send help this way let me know. It's one way I know I can help. I'll keep you updated. As of right now I have 65 meals to cook thanks to an amazing lady. No Meatloaf today

Yes we'll be open today. We might be out of a few items so bear with us. I'm not doing meatloaf today but we'll have chicken n noodles, patty melt and stuffed chicken breast as specials today. Thank you and be safe out there.

I removed the earlier post about the meal giveaway. I still have a family to connect with but I did get to provide food for 35 people. Thanks for all the names and I'm sorry I can't help everyone. I did keep all the names so I might be able to reach out more tomorrow.

Another reason I am working today. A business obligation for a group in Muncie.

Here's one of the reasons I'm working today. When you own a business and you've made a commitment to another business, you have to fulfill that commitment. The same was for yesterday(which I was attacked for opening). I have caterings that companies are depending on so I do what I have to do. Five of employees came yesterday because they wanted to work, not because it was mandatory. Today I'm doing it on my own so no employee was at risk for this 😉

The shop will be closed today. I'm here but with more run off of water last night there are more roads blocked today than yesterday. I had to come 36 to 103. If you're out and are hungry call me I can at least make you a sandwich. Prayers for everyone that has taken a hit from this. Please share .
