The Good Co.

MEET THE MAKER | Terry Dukeman 🤎

We are so excited to welcome the work of local potter Terry Dukeman to The Good Co!

Terry is a longtime New Castle artist who has spent more than 50 years working with clay. His love for pottery began while studying Art Education and ceramics at Ball State University, and over the years he built a career not only as a potter, but also as an art teacher, sharing his creativity and knowledge with generations of students.

Terry’s pottery is largely wheel-thrown and reflects his love of the natural world, with earthy glazes, landscapes, animals and beautifully carved details appearing throughout his work. He is also a recognized Indiana Artisan, and his work has been shown and sold throughout Indiana.

We feel pretty lucky to have such a talented New Castle maker represented right here at The Good Co. And even better, each piece is handmade, one of a kind, and meant to be enjoyed.

Come in and take a look at Terry’s pottery now in the shop. 🤎

Our First Five on Friday helped us kick off a lovely fall day! We caught four of them for a photo, but our fifth preferred to stay behind the camera.

Lots of fall décor headed home today to make your spaces feel warm and cozy. Thank you to everyone who stopped in and shopped small with us. We appreciate you so much!

It’s First Five on Friday! Our First Fivers got to roll the dice and get a percentage off of their highest priced item today. We got to chatting with one of them and completely forgot to take their photo. 😊 We loved the conversation though!

Thank you to everyone who stopped in and shopped small with us today. We appreciate you so much! 💚

Come see us Tuesday–Saturday, 11 AM–6 PM.

I had to take time out to show you this floral I just unpacked. It is gorgeous! It’s a fall real touch norfolk pine and it feels so buttery soft and has such pretty movement. A definite showstopper! Come see for yourself. Tuesday – Saturday, 11–6. ✌🏻❤️🍁

We’re back at it! 🍂 After a little vacation, The Good Co. is refreshed, recharged, and OPEN!

The shop is filled with a beautiful variety of fall florals, all perfect for adding warmth, texture, that cozy feeling to your home. Stop in and see what’s new!

🎉 Happy Birthday Olivia! 🎉

Olivia has been with me since day one of opening The Good Co. in downtown New Castle, and I can truly say she has been such a blessing to me.

If you’ve spent any time in the shop, you already know how warm, friendly and welcoming she is. She has a way of making everyone feel at home, she’s always willing to help, and she never hesitates to go the extra mile. I’m incredibly thankful for everything she does, but even more thankful for the friendship we’ve built along the way.

One of the sweetest parts of these past few years has been getting to know not only Olivia, but her family as well. They have all come to hold such a special place in my heart.

Olivia, I hope you know how loved and appreciated you are, not just today, but every day. The Good Co. simply wouldn’t be the same without you.

Please help me wish Olivia the happiest birthday! 🥳🎈
