SB 70 allows licensed genetic counselors to order genetic tests, ensuring patients receive timely and necessary care without unnecessary delays. This bill is about improving efficiency, reducing costs, and, most importantly, putting patients first.

Yesterday was pure magic at the General Assembly! We celebrated the 18th anniversary of World Down Syndrome Day with hearts full of joy and pride. It was an incredible day to spread awareness, celebrate the beauty of diversity, and honor the amazing contributions that people with Down syndrome make throughout Delaware and beyond.

The energy in Dover was nothing short of inspiring! Seeing everyone come together to uplift and embrace inclusion was a powerful reminder of the love and positivity that this community brings. It was truly an honor to share in the celebration, surrounded by smiles, laughter, and the undeniable spirit of togetherness.

Here’s to celebrating every individual’s uniqueness and vibrant impact on our world! 💙💛

HOA Leaders' Group will meet virtually this coming Tuesday, February 18, at 7 p.m. to discuss new proposed legislation regarding HOA registration and HOA Reserve Accounts.

I’m joining Rep. Melissa Minor-Brown and Rep. Kam Smith to hold an important conversation about the rising Delmarva utility bills. Delmarva Power representatives will join us on Wednesday, February 19 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m at Wilbur Elementary to discuss the reasons behind these increases, the programs available to help you during this time, and what the future may hold for Delmarva customers.

This is an opportunity for all of us to come together and find solutions. I hope you’ll join us to learn more about this problem and voice your concerns! Registration to this event is recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. I look forward to hearing from you and working towards answers.

It’s Super Bowl Sunday! 🏈🎉

The big game is here, and while our Dallas Cowboys aren’t playing (we’re still recovering from that 😅), we’ll still be watching—for the football, the commercials, and of course, the snacks!

Bill Poore and I may not have a team in the fight, but that won’t stop us from bringing the true fan energy tonight. And while he likes to think he’s the Travis Kelce to my Taylor Swift, let’s be real—the only rings we’ll be seeing this year are onion rings! 😂🍔🏆

But let’s not forget another big matchup today—the Puppy Bowl! 🐾🏆 Huge shoutout to the BVSPCA for having some of their adorable pups in the game. These little MVPs are stealing hearts and reminding us about the importance of pet adoption. Go, team fluff!

Today, I had the pleasure of celebrating the 25th wedding anniversary of Pete and Laura Toner—a wonderful couple whose love and dedication to each other are truly inspiring.

It was an honor to share in this special milestone with family and friends, reflecting on the memories they’ve built and the many more to come. Wishing them continued happiness, laughter, and love for years to come!
