PM student Semester Projects for this spring. Fun watching the students create proposals, contracts and work on designing and fabricating parts and assemblies. Those rebuilding, overhauling and repairing also learned some valuable lessons.

Not a lot of pictures but a great opportunity for the Engineering students to meet Damon Sturrock and his crew at Snakepit Customs. They do some amazing metal work.

Thank to Alicia Fabrisi and Steve Woodall at John Force Racing for arranging and leading the tour for the Engineering students. The opportunity for students to actually sit in a Top Fuel Dragster will be remembered for years.

Thank you Kirk Robbins for taking the time to speak with and guide the Engineering class through the MAGNA Machine facilities. Students exposed to the machining opportunities and the process of transforming raw materials into usable parts and assemblies.

Big thank you to Adam Wright and Levi Alexander for sharing with the engineering classes Thursday. Thank you also to Allan Mills for allowing the classes access to HyFlex and his staff. Amazing the growth I have witnessed with HyFlex.

Thank you to all that visited the Engineering class at the Christmas Walk last week. Also thank you to those that bid on the recycled material items. Jeff Ray and the City of New Castle also deserve a BIG THANK YOU for challenging the students and then donating the materials.

Tech Castings and Jeff Lantz hosted the Engineering class to a tour and discussion today. eff is very good about sharing with the students what they need to do to be successful at whatever they do. Your ATTITUDE and EFFORT are two things that can be controlled in their future. If both are good they will be successful!

Look up the Engineering Class tonight at the Christmas Walk. These decorations and more at the old bank at 14th and Broad street. Silent auction for bigger items.

Engineering Careers visited Progress Rail in Muncie today. Saw train engines from raw materials to finished and all stages in between. FYI a train engine weighs roughly 200 tons. That's about 400,000 pounds! Thank you to Andrew Kruse.
