By leaving the ends whispy during the initial install, it saves a lot of time and headache. Rather than continuously pulling the ends in, wait until the locs start to mature a little, THEN gradually pull those loose ends in tighter.
..we will be leaving a lot of his natural curl though. 🖤

5 hour install👌... 💪not too shabby

I had the pleasure on working on this beauty to make her "bad witch" dreams come true. 🤩

With some pizza & patience + 13 hours of work, we achieved just that!

We first cleaned up her lines by buzzing the sides, then we sectioned.
37 perfect squares to be exact!
Followed by locking her natural hair right into these extraordinary extensions for added length and volume.
Charlotte Bizoe is all set to put her spell on you. ;)

Root maintenance and loc corrections I finished up on my client the other night.

Have you ever seen the inside of an interlocking dredloc before?

VERY cool!

This is a method done by pulling the end of a loc, through the base of the hair, at the root, to tighten new growth into that loc.

It's a pretty common practice, as it is an easy 'fix' for maintenance. Compared to the crochet method, which can be difficult and strenuous to learn on your own.

There are some cons though...

Interlocking can create weak spots if not evenly alternated between directions the hair is looped.
And theeen... they could eventually just break off.

But as you can see, this interlocking is just finally working its way out naturally! 👌

First session this client has had with me in well over 1½ years!
So elated to have my faithful clients, years later. 🫶

Not too shabby. 😉
