**UPDATE: The parking ban ends at 4pm today, December 27, 2025βbe sure to move your vehicle by 10pm if it is parked in a free parking lot**
A snow emergency parking ban is in place for the City of New Britain starting at 6:00pm tonight.
Those without off-street parking can park at Stanley Golf Course, Osgood Park, the City parking lot at Wildwood St. & Linden St. (next to Police substation), Washington Park, Martha Hart Park, City parking garages (Bank St/Chestnut St. & Columbus Blvd. at the corner of Washington St.), and all New Britain Public School Parking Lots. Remember, all cars must be removed within 6 hours of the parking ban being over.

As we wrap up Prevention Month, we would like to take a moment to reflect on our Hoops for Homeless basketball tournament! π
It was truly inspiring to witness the New Britain community unite in support of youth homelessness, while students showcased their basketball talents to fundraise for initiatives that address homelessness among children and families in New Britain.
