Love In Deed

Greetings to all in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. It has been a while since we have posted anything on here.
We have decided to step up to help a new church in Pittsburgh, PA to get established. There are approximately 30+ believers that have be gathering in a home fellowship (predominantly African refugees).
The church is called "Pittsburgh Believers Tabernacle". Two brothers from another church in Northern Pennsylvania have been helping them with the organizational part of the church establishment.
Their more immediate needs are finding a building that they can start to lease big enough for everyone and the purchasing of a church van.
As time progresses we will see what needs they will need for the building once they find a place. And we will help in anyway we can on the construction end of things.

We started a big tier 3 project today. 2 years ago this couple we're working for purchased this house overlooking Silver Creek. About a week after they closed on the home their back yard fell away into the creek. Approximately 20 feet of the back yard fell away. The landslide also took a large portion of the septic field too. The Erosion is now about 8 feet away from the back deck and septic tank.
Then about 1 year ago the husband passed away. Now she has been left struggling to find someone to fix the issue. This project has been a big motivator as to why we started Love In Deed. Today is day 1 on this project.
We're currently running a new sewer line (which is a pump system). It will eliminate the need for a septic system altogether. After the sewer issue is fixed we will tackle the backyard rebuild.

Great news!
We've been approved for our 501(c)(3) status.
We're now an official charity organization. Offering tax deductions for donations.

Here is our first official project, and an example of what we can do. We installed a new metal roof over this existing old leaking roof for the sweetest elderly window, that I have had the opportunity to work for.
She did not have the funds to pay for the needed work. So providence had a tree limb damage the front of the roof. We made an insurance claim. Then her church sponsored her to cover her deductible.
If you know of anyone in a similar situation then we will be happy to have a conversation to see if we can help.
We are a faith based ministry with the intent to work with church or family sponsors.
