KPM Audio

One of the originals.

Before the series, before the posts, before any of this had a name — there was this build.

Old suitcase. Big sound. Same vision.

KPM AFTER DARK // FROM THE ARCHIVE

Built different. Sound different.

From vintage suitcases and guitar cases to military ammo cans, every KPM Audio build starts with something unexpected and ends as a one-of-one portable speaker with its own personality.

No two are alike. That’s the point.

Vintage character. Modern sound.

Handcrafted in New Jersey.

Guitar Case // After Dark

It still looks like it belongs beside the record collection.

It just plays the music now.

A guitar case transformed into a one-of-one KPM Audio speaker — built with multiple drivers, serious low end, and enough character that hiding it in the corner was never really an option.

More than a speaker.

Hand built in New Jersey. One of one.

Blue Horizon // After Dark

When the sun goes down, this one really makes sense.

A vintage suitcase rebuilt into a one-of-one portable speaker, set against the kind of setting it was made for — water, night air, and a little music carrying farther than expected.

Classic character outside. Modern sound inside

One of one. Built to be heard.

Built different. Made to be heard.

KPM Audio creates one-of-one portable speakers from vintage suitcases, instrument cases, ammo cans, and anything else worth giving a second life.

Hand-built. Carefully tuned. Completely unique.

Because a speaker shouldn’t just sound good — it should be something you want in the room.

50 Cal. Field Box. 🪖🔊

The First Build.

And still one of the coolest.

Built from a genuine 50 cal ammo can and photographed on a 5-ton Army truck, this piece was where the KPM idea really started to take shape — taking something rugged, utilitarian, and full of history, then turning it into a portable speaker with a completely different purpose.

Not polished. Not mass produced. Just character, creativity, and sound.

Military heritage. Modern sound. One of one.

Handcrafted by KPM Audio in New Jersey.

Cognac Reserve.

Old-world character, rebuilt for modern listening.

A vintage suitcase, rich cognac tones, and a full three-way speaker system — all brought together by hand into something that feels just as at home beside a stack of records as it does out on the patio.

No production line. No duplicate sitting on a shelf somewhere.

Rich. Warm. Portable. One of one.

Emerald Wave

A vintage suitcase with a completely new purpose.

Hand-built into a one-of-one portable speaker, this piece blends timeless style with modern sound — bold, distinctive, and made to bring character into any room.

Built by hand in New Jersey for people who want more than just another speaker.

Vintage looks. Modern performance. One of one.

Blue Horizon.

A vintage suitcase with a second life — rebuilt by hand into a portable speaker with a completely different kind of presence.

The blue finish, cream trim, and oversized white-cone woofer give this one a real coastal hi-fi feel, but the whole point was always the same: make something that looks unlike anything else and still sounds the part.

Vintage looks. Modern performance. Handcrafted in New Jersey. One of one.

Vintage style. Modern sound. One of one.

This build started with an old suitcase and became something completely different — bold low end, detailed highs, and a look you definitely won’t find on a store shelf.

Hand-built by KPM Audio in New Jersey for people who want their sound to have a little character.

Classic outside. Modern inside. Built to be heard.
