Today we had Bill and the crew aboard for a day on the water. After the sea bass fishing has been a little dismal the last few trips, Bill decided it was time to switch gears and target fluke. It turned out to be a great call!

The fluke fishing got off to a good start right from the get-go. Bill put an absolute hurting on them today, with Mike putting in some serious work as well. Rich, Lou, and the rest of the crew stayed busy throughout the trip, boating some really quality fish.

To be honest, if we had managed to boat everything we hooked and had bites on today, we easily could have had a six-man boat limit. The action was there, and the fish were chewing.

The crew fished hard all day and finished up with 13 nice keeper fluke before the south wind started kicking up and the ocean began to get a little sloppy. With a great catch in the box and conditions deteriorating, we decided to wrap it up and head for the dock.

It was a pleasure having Bill and the crew out with us today. Thank you, men! We appreciate your business and can’t wait to do it again. See you next week.

It was great to see the fluke fishing producing the way it did, especially with the sea bass fishing being a little off lately. We’ll be focusing heavily on fluke moving forward, while still checking on the sea bass when conditions allow. Right now, the fluke fishing is looking very promising.

🎣 White Crab Charters Fishing Report – Saturday AM & PM Trips 🎣

Both our morning and afternoon crews got after it on Saturday, and while the fishing wasn’t easy, everyone stayed at the rail and worked hard for what they caught.

The morning trip saw plenty of action with lots of shorts and steady bites throughout the day, but putting keepers in the box proved challenging. The crew finished with 5 keeper sea bass and 4 ling.

The afternoon trip found a little better life, and the crew managed to put together around 20 keeper sea bass along with a handful of ling for the cooler.

This season has definitely been different than your typical spring sea bass fishery. The fish have been extremely finicky and making us work for every keeper. One minute they want bait, the next they want a jig worked a certain way, and if you’re not doing exactly what they want, you’re missing out. It’s been far from the usual drop-and-reel sea bass bite we’ve seen in past years.

The good news is there are plenty of fish around, lots of bites, and we’re continuing to grind away and put our customers on what we can. Some days are better than others, but that’s fishing, and we’ll keep working hard every trip.

🎣 WHITE CRAB CHARTERS 6/7 REPORT🎣

Today we had Jack and the crew aboard for some sea bass fishing, and it turned into another great day on the water!

We had three guys who were new to jigging. The anglers who were dialed in with the jigs were putting a beatdown on the fish right from the start, with some real quality sea bass coming over the rail. Once the newer guys got the hang of it and figured out the rhythm, they started catching right along with everyone else. A few fish came on bait as well, but the jigs were definitely the key to the better action. Jack got a nice blackfish at the end for his last drop with a healthy return. love seeing the big fish go back congrats again my brother.

By the end of the day, we boxed up 50 quality keeper sea bass and sent everyone home with some nice bags of fresh fillets. Most importantly, everyone had a great time and left with smiles on their faces.

Today we sailed with some of our regulars on a lighter 4-man charter, and the fishing was absolutely on fire from start to finish!

The jig bite was nonstop from the very first drop. The fish wanted it all day long, and the crew stayed busy putting quality sea bass over the rail. Double-header keepers were coming up regularly, with some rigs producing two keeper sea bass on a single drop!

Dave was on fire, Paul was right behind him, and Jeff stayed tight all day putting fish in the box. The action never slowed down, and before we knew it, we had our 60 quality keeper sea bass in the cooler.

With the limit boxed and smiles all around, the men decided it was time to wrap it up and head for the barn after an outstanding day on the water.

🎣 WHITE CRAB CHARTERS FISHING REPORT – 6/4/26 🎣

Today we had James and family aboard for some sea bass fishing, and it didn’t take long to get the action started!

We left the dock early, made our way to the grounds, set up on the first piece, and were instantly greeted with a great bite. The fish were chewing right from the start, and as the day went on, some really nice quality sea bass started coming over the rail.

We also had plenty of blackfish in the mix, with some bruisers pushing 8 pounds, all of which were safely released to fight another day.

By the time we called it quits, the crew had put together 46 keeper sea bass and headed back to the dock with some beautiful fish and plenty of fillets for the table. Great day on the water with a great family!

Another awesome day on the water aboard White Crab Charters!

Today we had Randall ,Kimberly and family along with Andy and Bob out with us for a day of sea bass fishing, and the fishing was absolutely lights out. We made one stop, put the reels in gear, and never looked back. The fish were piled up 40 feet high and chewing everything we dropped down!

The sea bass wanted jigs, they wanted bait, they wanted whatever you put in front of them. While fishing for the sea bass there were plenty of hungry out of season blackfish biting jigs and stealing clams keeping everyone busy at the rail all day long.

By the time the dust settled, we had our full limit of 80 keeper sea bass in the box, with a lot of quality fish mixed in. Everyone went home with heavy bags of fresh fillets and plenty of smiles. It’s safe to say the fishing is really starting to heat up!

A huge thank you to Randall , Kimberly and family, Andy, and Bob for spending the day with us. It was a pleasure having you all aboard, and we appreciate your support.

Another great day on the water with Faul Su and crew aboard White Crab Charters!

The guys stayed glued to the rail all day and put together a very respectable catch. The fish kept us working, switching back and forth between jigs and bait, then back to jigs again. We had to do a little pile-hopping to stay on them, but the effort paid off with some quality sea bass coming over the rail throughout the trip.

By the end of the day, the crew boxed 75 keeper sea bass, with some really nice quality fish mixed in. We wrapped it up, headed back to the dock, and sent everyone home with some big bags of fresh fillets.
