Trim Hunger is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit raising funds and awareness to fight hunger in the Fox Cities.
One month ago today, Trim Hunger stopped by Franklin Elementary to talk with students about the signs of hope they’ve been putting in the Shared Shelf outside their school. Josif was so impressed with what he saw. The school has done a phenomenal job of keeping those shelves stocked! We will continue to monitor them over the summer. Feel free to leave what you can and take what you need. 🧡 We will have an announcement coming soon about the next little free pantry going up in the Appleton school district!

Classroom visit to say “thanks for making a difference!” Trim Hunger founder Josif Wittnik met with students at Franklin Elementary School in Appleton to tell them just how much he was moved by the signs they’ve been making for our first Shared Shelf. Every time someone opens the doors to the little free pantry outside the school, they are greeted with these signs of hope and care and understanding. Way to go students! 👏 And have a great summer! ☀️

Every donation matters. But some make a better impact! This guy is on a mission to fill pantry shelves. Food pantries are helping more families than ever so the shelves are constantly running low.
