Over the years, life science microscopy has advanced rapidly, and the need for high-quality imaging solutions for deep tissue structures is greater than ever.

Unfortunately, deep imaging is often affected by optical aberrations, particularly spherical aberration, which can negatively impact image quality.

That’s where Evident’s TruResolution™ technology comes in. TruResolution makes automated spherical aberration correction simple. Unlock clearer deep-tissue imaging with Evident’s TruResolution technology, available on FLUOVIEW™ FV5000 confocal and FV5000MPE multiphoton laser scanning microscopes.

This Microscopy Monday, meet one of the smallest insect groups in the world, Mymaridae, also known as fairyflies. 🧚

These insects are typically black, brown, or yellow, with body lengths generally ranging from about 0.2–1 mm, making them among the tiniest insects on Earth. Today’s 6th Annual Image of the Year Honorable Mention features a fairyfly measuring roughly 1 mm, which is nearly invisible to the naked eye, and a great example of just how much advanced microscopy can reveal. 🔬

Discover the magic from this year's competition in our full gallery: https://evidentscientific.com/en/landing/ioty-six-annual?utm_source=Facebook&utm_campaign=ioty&utm_medium=organic
