Invitations and event planning of all kinds. Custom party favors as well.

The pandemic has given us some time to launch our new website. Lucky for us my good friend Yehuda Inbar designed a fabulous new site! Enjoy and thank you to our many clients who gave us great opportunities to work with them on their special occasions.

Thoughts in 2020 about Invitations…
Many of you know that we started by creating Bar and Bat Mitzvah invitations for our clients. As a former graphic designer, this was (and continues to be) fun and these invitations have a lot of personality. As many of our former clients have reached another stage in life, we have been fortunate to see them again for wedding invitations.

Recently, I was on a long plane ride visiting a couple (and their new baby) whose wedding invitation we did and started thinking about the wedding invitations (and events) we have done. I thought about the process and how we handled the distance of many of our clients. It has certainly evolved, with the ease of facetime, skype etc. and become an easy process. Also, for the most part, wedding invitations have not changed much in terms of the overall look. But invitations can and do have their own personality, which we love to make happen as a first step to reflect the wedding couple. We have been privileged to do some very special work with our clients.
So what have we done? These days there are some special fonts that are created by typography artists and then easily accessible to the public. We have found a few great sources that for little money will give an invitation the pizazz that some couples are looking for. In some ways it is the fonts that end up setting the tone of an invitation. Once the font is acquired, it can be shared with any invitation company as well as shared with any other printers for accessories such as a program or menu for the day of items. They can also be used for signage, place cards and even cocktail napkins. We have also created artwork that can be venue or theme related for some of these specialty items.

Another way to make an invitation unique is to add some color to the envelope liner and envelopes themselves, after all that is the first thing you see when you receive the invitation. Not only can we find and supply a special paper but many patterns can be created in any tone you want. You can also use a colored envelope for either the actual envelope or the response envelope. We have also introduced a color for a card such as the brunch card. Don’t be afraid of the word ā€œcolorā€ as by color we typically mean a touch of another color that is already a part of the wedding color palette. We would love you to see some of these invitations. We are happy to share these designs in our office please, come in or call us.

As always, thanks so much for the privilege of making us part of your special day. Happy New Year to all!
