Continuing the rental series, K-array and No Borders Music Festival show how the right PA system helps rental companies perform in demanding real-world environments.
Set deep in the Friuli Alps, surrounded by mountains, forests, and protected landscapes, the festival offered an incredible backdrop for audiences and a serious challenge for audio.
The brief was to deliver precise, consistent coverage across the audience area while keeping acoustic spill under control and respecting the surrounding environment.
That’s where the Firenze-KH7 and KS8 system stepped in.
The rental team achieved precise beam steering, remarkably even SPL coverage, and natural sound that engineers, artists, and audiences responded to immediately.

Continuing our look at the new K-array website, they designed their new product pages to make finding the right solution easier.
When working on a project, the search rarely starts with a product name. More often, it starts with a requirement. A specific application. A certification. A technical need.
That’s why they’ve redesigned their product pages to help users navigate in a way that feels more natural.
Products can now be filtered across brands, applications and key product codes or requirements, whether that’s marine certifications, EN-54, EBS, or other project-specific criteria.
The goal wasn’t to add more information. It was to make the right information easier to find. Less time searching through pages. More time focusing on the project itself.
As with every update across the new site, the thinking was simple: create tools that support the way architects, designers and integrators actually work.

What happens when a rental company needs to deliver world-class sound in the middle of a historic city, with strict noise control, complex rigging requirements, and last-minute production changes?
Parma Cittàdella Musica Live Concert hosted major performances from Andrea Bocelli, Sting, Zucchero and more, demanding a PA system capable of delivering powerful, detailed audio while maintaining precise control across the entire venue.
Using K-array Firenze-KH7 with KS8 subs, the rental team achieved precise beam steering, even coverage, powerful low-end, and studio-like definition across the audience area, all while keeping the system lightweight and fast to deploy.
When structural changes forced adjustments to the rigging plan just days before setup, the system's compact weight meant production could move forward without redesigning the entire audio setup.

What else is new on the K-array website? One of the biggest additions to the new website is the new Applications section, built around the real environments where audio and lighting systems are used every day.
Instead of starting with products, they wanted to start with spaces.
From hospitality and retail to corporate, residential, wellness and venues, the new pages are organised around key markets and the different challenges each space brings. Because the needs of a boutique hotel are completely different from those of a boardroom or a museum.
We’ve also introduced a new configurator designed to make those early planning stages easier.
Users can select the type of room, its size, and specific project requirements, and the configurator will suggest solutions tailored to that environment, shaped around how the space will actually be used.
The idea is to make it easier to move from inspiration to practical solutions, without needing to already know exactly what product you’re looking for.
