Worku and Susan just wrapped up an incredible week and a half across the U.S.
From Miami to Chicago to New York, Worku, a Yemin Orde alum, shared his story. He spoke about arriving in Israel from Ethiopia as a child, navigating the challenges of a new country, and finding his path after graduating. Today, he is a motivational speaker, and his wife works at Yemin Orde.
“As someone who came from a very humble beginning, moments like these remind me why I do what I do, to inspire, to connect, and to show that no matter where you start, there are no limits to where you can go.”

Youth across Israel are relieved to be back at school after six weeks of war. For Yilikal, a 12th grader at Yemin Orde, he is cherishing these last few moments of high school even if he lost some time in between.

On Yom HaZikaron, we hold close the memory of fallen soldiers and victims of terror, and the families who carry that loss every day.
At Yemin Orde, our students came together to light candles, share stories, and be there for one another.

After 4.5 years as CEO of Village Way, Tomer Samarkandi is stepping into his next chapter.
The past few years have been anything but normal, yet Tomer never wavered in his leadership and commitment to transforming schools, educators, and at-risk youth across Israel. Tomer was an outstanding partner to our ImpactIsrael team, and will genuinely be missed.
