What can you do when you KNOW your child has so much they want to share with the world, but they just can't get the ideas out of their head?

Or, their ideas come out of their head, but they're all jumbled up, and it's hard for them - and you (and teachers)- to figure out what they're trying to write.

At Architects For Learning, we help students of all ages develop the skills and habits they need to become effective writers and communicators.

Contact us. We can help.

We've all seen it.

Students start to read, get to the end of a sentence, and have absolutely NO IDEA what the heck they've just read.

Sure, sometimes that can be attributed to attention, but there are some grammatical structures that are known to be difficult-- especially for students who struggle with language.

These students can read that sentence over and over, and they'll still forget the words before they can work out their meaning.

We developed a way to teach these structures that lightens the memory load, and allows students to unlock any sentence they come across.

Check out Unlocking Sentences. You AND your students will be glad you did!

Singer & Bashir.

Whenever those two names (and brains) are paired, SLPs and educators KNOW what follows will teach them something they can use immediately to help their students.

If you heard their presentation at ASHA, then you've heard all about what can go wrong AND how you can help students who just can't make themselves understood when they have to explain themselves. (The frameworks and strategies they gave are pretty fabulous, right?)

If you're an SLP or educator who DIDN'T get to see them at ASHA, you're in luck! They're going to do their presentation live online Wednesday, December 13th. (That means you can get your hands on those frameworks and strategies too!)

Singer and Bashir.
Wednesday, December 13th.
Don't miss out!

There are movers.
There are shakers.
There are teachers.
There are mentors.
There are leaders.
There are warriors.
There are poets.
There are writers.
There are SLPs.
There are educators.
And then there is Bonnie Singer, who is all of the above and more.

We are so incredibly proud of the work she has done over the course of her career, and we were over the moon when we learned she was awarded ASHA's Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Contributions in Clinical Achievement.

So. Well. Deserved.

Much love to all who reached out with well wishes and congratulations. We passed along each an every message.

Many many thanks to those who were able to celebrate with us in Boston. For those who weren't able to make it, know that you were very much missed.

For all those wondering what's next...just wait. This brilliant soul has so much more to say, teach, and give. Stay tuned.
