With more than two decades of experience in New England’s high-end modern residential market, the studio brings a deeply hands-on approach to architecture, pairing thoughtful modern design with trusted relationships across consultants, builders, interior designers, and craftspeople.

While the practice serves clients throughout New England, there is a particular focus on the Lake Sunapee region of New Hampshire as this is where Howard enjoys spending time with family + friends. r.3a strives to design homes that respond thoughtfully to the unique Lake Sunapee landscape + views, light, seasonality, and the character of place.
