If you have been putting off that TV install out of fear of the unknowns or unsure of how to mount, give a shot!

Had a chance to install these today for a customer who happened to be family. I’ve seen a lot of posts of people questioning which ones to buy so I figured I’d give a quick review for those interested.

Pros: Very bright, vivid lighting. Excellent packaging. Very easy to deploy in theory. The app is very easy to use as well with many options of color combinations, themes and styles. The cabling comes in white or black to match whatever color eaves you have.

Neutrals: Price point. They are on the higher end of competitors pricing but the quality is there. In the end you get what you pay for.

Cons: Ribbon cabling with three conductors of wires so splicing is very delicate but doable. The expectations is to install these lights with the sticky back and then back it up with a screw in cable clamp to keep it up. A little quality control would have exposed this flaw. They should have just added eyelets to the lights and you could have saved a step. The power supply is big and bulky.

Overall: I think it’s an excellent product with just some nit picky things that would make installing flawless and dress up the product to the house.

Haven’t posted in a while but still busy busy. Mounting TV’s, installing ceiling fans, electrical work, building out porch shade coverings and my go to of fence building. Thanks Bill Wheeler for the work! Job went well except for a slight injury of a screw going through my foot. Made a make shift bandage and kept on truckin.

This was a cool two board project! Customer needed a table that fit over the ottoman for purposes of having an eating and drinking surface. You dream it I’ll build it!

My most recent build was one for the books. Experiemental table with salvaged legs from a flood. Originally customer wanted a table that would separate with a leaf installed in the middle. I just could not get the weight distribution right with an already very long table. Enter my first rebuild ever. Rebuilt the table and added extensions to the end! This table was a beast and got delivered to some friends in Houston. Thank you guys for the business!

Got a chance to visit the coolest woodworking shop. This guy salvages and restores belt driven tools from the late 1800’s and uses them to build period pieces and cabinets for homes. He’s the only guy in the states with this kind of equipment and processes.

Let me reintroduce myself! For those that don’t know my name is Ryan and I’m a professional piddler/woodworker. I’m a shift worker so when I’m on my off days I like to get paid to piddle. My piddling services include but are not limited too:

🔌 Installation of light fixtures and fans. Both interior and exterior applications available.

🪚 Can build and install feature/accent walls, shutters, shelves, basic decks and pergolas

🏠 Basically if there’s a need at the house, hit me up! I’ll mow the grass if you ain’t got time, hang your curtains, install the WiFi and wash the dishes after dinner.

From an initial inspiration pic on Instagram to the finished product. Only took a thousand trips to the miter saw but this portrait trim job is one for the books! Even I had to give myself a pat on the back for stepping out of my comfort zone and pulling this off. Thank you to my neighbors for entrusting me to bring your vision to life!

Side note: If you don’t own a laser level its the bees knees. I bought a very basic one for this project and well worth it.
