Mac the Pig

Well, I did great today! Dr Justin is fantastic! I had my radiographs done and they pulled two teeth but Dr. J told Mom that he couldn't believe what he saw which was I had an extra tusk growing and has been there forever embedded hiding in my cheek tissues. I guess now that makes me an extra special anomaly.
He shaved it down and stitched me up. I also had those two lesions removed and biopsied. They also made my hooves nice and short,
I am home resting and doing great. Thank you all for your prayers and good vibes today.

Well, we made it to Foothills Animal Hospital and I made a real big mess on Mom's car😄💩. I was difficult getting out of the car, because I was not too happy not getting my breakfast this morning but I got into my waiting stall and was very happy playing with my bedding. Mom was with me so that made me so happy and then Dr.J came in and gave me my happy medicine. I started getting sleepy and then mom and four other gals lifted me on my bed with wheels. Mom told me to be strong and she loved me........off I went. Wish me luck and see you in recovery 🙏🐽🐷.

I need to be strong for my surgery tomorrow and need to lift Mom up and tell her, I got this!!!!

Our Animal Haven pigs want to ask you to help get justice for the pigs from a hoarding case.
You may remember the awful hoarding case in Morganton that we helped Ziggy's Refuge Farm Sanctuary Cotton Branch Refuge Project with. There were 163 pigs as well as many dogs living in horrendous, unsafe and unsanitary conditions. All are safe and well cared for now while they wait for their forever homes. The Blue Ridge Liberation Group is asking for our help to try and hold Amy Mullins accountable for this cruelty and neglect. Please take a few minutes to contact Burke County Commissioners and ask that they push for the strongest possible outcome and that she never be allowed to have animals again. Go to the link in comments and fill in the form that is already set up for you to take action. It only takes a couple of minutes. These animals deserve no less from us.
