ROAD WORK AHEAD- A message from Town of Anderson, Mayor Pro-Tem Tanner Krause:
“ANDERSON: Roadwork will begin on East Buffington between Cedar St. and Main St. starting Monday, pending weather, as part of a grant-funded improvement project.

Please provide the crews patience and understanding as they work to complete these much-needed upgrades. Expect temporary traffic delays, lane closures, and limited access to some areas during construction.

We appreciate your cooperation and support as we work to improve our community’s infrastructure. Updates will be provided as the project progresses. Thank you for your patience.”

BENTON WINS PRECINCT 2 COMMISSIONER RUNOFF — Carter Benton secured Grimes County Precinct 2 Commissioner, defeating incumbent David Tullos by 151 votes in the May 26 runoff.

💬 “I’m humbled, honored and ready to serve the citizens of Precinct 2 in Grimes County,” Benton said following the release of election results.

🐖💙 Future leaders: Today, Ryder Sechelski stopped by the Navasota Examiner office to personally invite us to the upcoming Grimes County Fair Freezer Sale tomorrow at 6:30pm. We were so impressed to see this young man visiting local businesses and introducing himself while promoting his market swine project.
