Power Surge 4-H Robotics, STEAM robotics club. Members are 13-18 years old in 8th-12th grade from any school or home-school. Contact us for the current schedule.
We compete in FIRST Robotics as FRC Team #2172. Our workshop is located at the Naugatuck YMCA. Students age 13-18 in 8th-12th grades, from any public, or private, and home-school may join through open enrollment. The team meets from 7pm-9pm on the ACES at Chase campus in Waterbury, CT. Meeting dates vary throughout the year.

🤖⚡️The Power Surge team is in count down mode with back to back competition weekends just around the corner. It’s been a journey starting with moving our workshop into our new home at the Naugatuck YMCA just in time for build season. We’re excited to be in the Naugatuck community - we look forward to growing in our new home in the coming years!

As summer arrived and school ended we had to say some goodbyes. Wishing nothing but the absolute best to the seniors and mentors who will not be continuing with us.
As much as goodbyes suck we also had some hellos and new officers move up!
Thank you to those who are moving onto the next chapter of their lives and congratulations to those who have filled officer positions and joined the team!
