Slingshot Battleship later today!!
The weather does not look ideal, but it is supposed to at least remain muggy.
Extra buckets would be welcome today as we seem to only have 1.

Tomorrow we will be hosting the first ever (for us) Human Water-balloon Battleship game (better name TBD).
2 slingshots, 36 squares, and 500 water balloons!
> 2 teams at a time.
> Each team must consist of a minimum of 4 people.
> Each team takes a turn to fire upon the opposing team.
> First to score 3 hits on the opposing team wins.
This event is BYOB(athing suit)!!

CAUTION: this game may only be for the older kids. The water balloons WILL be traveling at a high velocity and can possibly cause injuries to younger children. Please be aware of this.

Last night went really well. The cops were not called, so that's good. Luckily, everything started and wrapped up right on time.
Hopefully, we can do more movie nights in the future. Especially some Halloween'esque movies in October. Speaking of Oct., I would like to try and put together some kind of "Haunted Walk" or something for the kids this year. The Ultra Slide area has plenty of room. Halloween is on a Monday this year. So the weekend leading up to it would be a great time to put it on.

This event is B.Y.O.(Chairs, Candy, Blankets, Drinks, Bug spray)
Treat this event like a drive-in; you can bring whatever you want.

If the weather holds up; I can easily see doing Movies Under the Stars Saturday night.
Goonies has been dismissed as a viewable movie for loads of kids, any other suggestions? Has everyone seen Rio?

Those of you who couldn't make it; maybe next year. Those of you who just chose not to come; you suck. Was one hell of a summer and I am happy that the Ultra Slide team was able to play role in that. Definitely stay tuned for more events during the upcoming seasons.

Winter: Ultra Luge aka. The Brook Valley Holi-Luge-Ah Event.

Tentative my toosh! This thing is happening either way. This is most likely the LAST slide of the summer. There is rumor of a mini-bounce house; this is in not connected to the slide. We unfortunately did not get a ramp built, so for all you daredevils [me], it isnt a jump.

Tentative sliding tomorrow, likely with a mini bouncy house. If weather is nice, we will also have grilled chicken, hot dogs etc. Come and join us for one last slide this the season (if weather holds up).
