Mark Horton of HKD was proud to present Winter Park’s Christopher Gabrielsen with the 2026 Colorado Ski Country Snowmaker of the Year Award.

It was great to see members of the Winter Park team at the Snow Conference Double Diamond Awards celebrating alongside Christopher as he accepted this well-deserved honor.

The HKD Service Team came together in Natick, MA for a week of hands-on training — and finished strong with a tour of Fenway Park. Nothing builds a team like getting your hands dirty together... and then heading into Boston to check out that dirty water.

The Herman K. Dupré Sustainable Snowmaking Grant keeps growing — and this year’s recipients, Jackson Hole, WY and Berkshire East, MA, are leading the way in renewable energy and efficient snowmaking.

Plan on late-Spring skiing? Head to Killington Resort - they have been piling snow on Superstar so you ski in shorts, a t-shirt and sunglasses in a couple months.

Superstar at Killington is absolutely BURIED by the new fully-automated HKD fan guns at the base. You can barely see the new lift on the bottom right. This is the first season with late-spring skiing on Superstar with these fan guns, and it sure looks like the snow will hold up!

Last week in Quebec City, the HKD team came together to share ideas, celebrate successes, and strengthen the connections that power everything we do!
