This verse reminds us that our words carry influence. What we say can bring encouragement, healing, and hope, or it can cause hurt and discouragement. Each day, we have a choice to use our words wisely—to speak with kindness, truth, and love. Our words reveal what is in our hearts, so we are called to let them reflect grace and compassion.
How Can We Follow Jesus?
Building the Church
The cross itself is the greatest example of this truth. What appeared to be defeat became the means of salvation. Through the suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, God revealed that even the darkest struggles can become places where His grace and glory are made known.
We often assume strength is something we already know we have, but most of the time it only becomes visible when we’re pushed into situations that test us. The truth in this line is that strength is not discovered in comfort—it is revealed in challenge.
“You will never know how strong you are until you try to prove it” speaks to those moments when life asks more of you than you feel ready for. Fear might tell you to avoid difficulty, but growth happens when you step forward anyway. Even if you feel unsure, even if you fail at first, the effort itself begins to uncover resilience you didn’t realize you had.
Strength is not just about winning or succeeding—it is also about continuing when things are hard, learning when things don’t go your way, and standing back up when you fall. Every challenge becomes a quiet opportunity to meet a stronger version of yourself.
In the end, you don’t “find” strength—you build it by showing up, trying, and not giving up when it would be easier to quit.

We are grateful to the Lord for another opportunity to gather in fellowship under the mighty banner of His Holy Name.
We look forward to seeing you this weekend as we come humbly before the throne of grace to ask, “Plead my cause, O Lord.”
Come excited, hungry and expectant for the move of God in our midst.
This verse speaks into moments when you feel overwhelmed, pressured, or unable to change your situation. It reminds you that not every battle is meant to be carried by your own strength. There are struggles where God asks you not to force an outcome, but to trust Him in the waiting.
“Be still” doesn’t mean doing nothing—it means refusing to panic, stop striving in fear, and choosing faith over anxiety. It is a posture of surrender, where you acknowledge that God sees what you cannot see and is working even when nothing seems to be happening.
Sometimes, the hardest part of faith is not fighting—but letting go of the need to control everything.
Life often brings moments of stress, uncertainty, and challenges that can leave our hearts restless. The simple act of breathing reminds us to slow down, be present, and recognize that each moment is a gift from God. In every breath, we are reminded of His presence, His grace, and His constant care for us.
Finding peace does not mean that everything around us is perfect. It means trusting that God is with us even in difficult seasons. When we release our worries and surrender our fears, we create space for gratitude, hope, and inner calm.
