Lately, Boston has been buzzing with excitement. The World Cup is here, kids are home from school, and many of us have the day off today. While we are all enjoying the day and partaking in the festivities, let’s not forget why we have the day off. “Understanding history is one of many ways to break the cycle. Lift up/amplify Black voices, support Black owned businesses, reach back and mentor.” If a visitor from around the world asks why we have the day off, share the story of Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery. It was a whirlwind of a weekend! Saturday morning we were hired to do balloon centerpieces for a Bar Mitzvah. So my day started at 7:30 am blowing up 120 latex balloons!! Had the help of my husband and son to set them up at the Temple and Natalie opened up at the store. Then on Sunday, Natalie and I were at a pop up in Hyde Park, hosted by where we were selling products that we carry from women owned and Latina owned. We met so many amazing people and my cousin and her husband surprised us by coming to the event! The food was delicious, the beer was refreshing and the company was a lot of fun! Highly recommend visiting the brewery! Have to thank my family for giving me a hand when I ask them for help 💕. I hope you all had a great weekend and keep cool this week!

Paper Fiesta amigos!!! I’m on top of a trend 😂 and it looks like the 90’s are coming back 😜. Last week I was getting phone calls from teens asking if we had hacky sacks. Didn’t think twice about it, until Saturday, where I had a mom tell me they were making a comeback! These are handmade from Guatemala 🇬🇹 with bright colors. Happy to report that we have them in stock!! Open until 2pm today.
