REMEMBER WHEN MoBBallet STARTED THE JUNETEENTH DANCE BREAK??
Our challenge to the field pushed dance organizations to expand their Juneteenth celebrations beyond just the Black individuals within their institutional sphere.
We basically said: It’s not just about you…

Here are the parameters for this year’s Call to Action:

Are you gearing up to lift up
Black Beauty
Black Elegance
Black Intellectualism
Black Creativity
Black Love
Black Joy
Black Achievement
Black Culture
on JUNETEENTH???

JUNE 19th

Are you using this as an opportunity to delve into some of the shadowed history of the Black people GLOBALLY???

We need to counteract the planned actions of certain people who will be holding a rally to try to distract us from the significance of this day by centering white supremacy...

But we are not having it. GEAR UP Your Content!!!!

I am excited to see what you all are coming with, I am excited to learn from everyone who is participating!!
I thank you in advance for your support!!!

The Architect’s Wisdom

In ballet, the most valuable "tools" aren’t always found in a syllabus—they are held in the lived experiences of those who have already navigated the heights of the field. 🛠️✨

Enrolling in the Pathways to Performance (PTP) Cohort means more than just studio time. It’s an apprenticeship in longevity. You are stepping into a room with working choreographers who possess a vast breadth of knowledge—makers who have spent decades not just crafting movement, but navigating the complex business of ballet.

Our mentors, led by Donald Byrd, don’t just teach you how to build a phrase; they show you how to:

Navigate the industry and negotiate contracts.

Build and lead a creative team.

Maintain your voice while breaking through glass ceilings.

Scale your craft for prominent, high-profile stages.

We aren't just teaching choreography; we are sharing the "blueprints" for a sustainable, high-level career.

🌿 Learn from the masters. Build your own legacy.

Apply for the PTP 2026 Cohort. https://bit.ly/SOH26REG

The Hallway Ambush
We’ve all been there. You’re at the studio, you have a concern bubbling up, and you see the teacher walking toward the breakroom. It feels like the perfect time for a 'quick' question, right? 🛑 Wait.

In the ballet world, the 'Hallway Ambush' is one of the quickest ways to unintentionally get your sef placed on a "no fly zone". 📉

Allow MoBBallet help you begin to develop healthy relationships - and communication with your dancer's teachers!!!
