Self care can look many different ways. Sometimes it’s getting out of your comfort zone a bit. Sometimes it’s spending time with dear friends. Or just getting outside, enjoying walks and nature. Maybe a small tattoo. Sometimes you can combine a few of the above. Yesterday was one of those days. It felt so therapeutic. To be outside enjoying the sunshine, taking macro photos of some of your favorite flowers, cramming a month worth of catching up with each other and venting in two hours. And have those photos taken. Take them even when you slept horrible the past few nights. Take them even when you gained back some of the weight you worked so hard to lose. Take them especially to shut up that sneaky mean inner voice. Take them just because you can. You don’t need a reason. Now go do something nice for yourself. And hug a friend. Especially the last part 🥰
