Henry Wicks, our 80th Eagle Scout was home from college as we celebrated his Eagle Scout Court of Honor ceremony on Saturday June 11, 2022. Henry had several leadership positions including our Senior Patrol Leader duties in 2020/2021 as we endured during Covid-19 pandemic restrictions. Henry kept a positive attitude and developed many creative activities to keep the scouts engaged both in person and online.

Congratulations Henry!

Another Eagle Scout Special Project re-routing a section of the Eisenmenger Trail off Arrow Path commenced today with the clearing of brush, uprooting stones and ledge cutting a hillside into a new path to bypass an existing muddy section below that floods often in this wetland sanctuary.
Our candidate has been collaborating with the Natick Trails Committee and the Conservation Agent to make today's project go forward.

As we worked away the scouts and adult leaders were serenaded by several bullfrogs in the adjoining vernal pools next to the path.

We're returning soon to cut out several large tree roots which protrude into the path but it is accessible to all at this time.
