Enabling individuals with self-injury scars to move beyond their trauma

Spark Hope Project empowers young adults and adolescents to overcome the shame and stigma of self-injury by providing free scar revision treatments to individuals seeking personal growth beyond their trauma.

2TTS was lucky to be a part of the Herren Project’s First Day film screening with Spark Hope Scar Revision Project! The event included an important discussion about how to connect and provide safe and trusting relationships in authentic ways with kids to help them
navigate the challenges of life to minimize their need to escape or turn to substance use, self-injury or other forms of self-harm. As Chris Herren says, it only takes one person to have an impact. Scan the QR code and watch the recording so you can learn more about how to be that one person for someone who might be struggling.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can say is simply: "I hear you."

When someone we love is struggling, it can be hard to find the right words. Validation doesn't require having all the answers. It just requires showing up.

Healing can look different for everyone, and it rarely happens in a straight line.

These are a few gentle reminders for the slower days. Remember to be patient with yourself, trust your progress, and remember that you are not alone. 🤍

Pride Month is about visibility, belonging, and creating a world where people feel safe enough to fully be themselves.

Feeling confident in your own skin doesn’t always come easily. For many people, it’s something built over time through support, acceptance, healing, and community.

This month, we’re reflecting on a simple but meaningful question:

"What helps you feel confident in your own skin?"

We’d love to hear your thoughts below. ⬇️

The rule of thirds creates the lines.

But healing and growth often happen when we realize we are allowed to take up space beyond the lines we once placed around ourselves.

At Spark Hope, we believe everyone deserves to feel seen, supported, and safe enough to become fully themselves.
