Sad daddy MS buck who frequented the cameras just after dark several years ago. He’s one of those deer that eluded me for years and likely has died of old age by now. Sad I never got a chance at him but glad he had a few more years to pass on these genes!

Congratulations to my cousin John Dudley on his biggest deer to date! Grossed 210” typical 😳. Who knew he’d have to leave the land of giants in Iowa to get his largest deer in Texas!

Check out this unbelievable picture! I don't know the location but I'd say these deer are coming to feed pretty well. If your place is like mine the deer have zero acorns left and are struggling to find enough to eat right now with these low temps.

PETA and anti hunting organizations like it seem to forget there are much worse ways of dying than being shot by a hunter. This poor animal will suffer unimaginably before he dies over the course of a couple of hours. A precise arrow or bullet usually takes less than 15 seconds to kill an animal. Let’s be sure as hunters to have respect for God’s creatures and only take ethical shots..... unless it’s a pig. In that case fire away.
