HISTORIANS FAVORITE - THE HOUSE ON ELLICOTT HILL.
The oldest house in Natchez was Built-in 1798. President George Washington sent Major Andrew Ellicott in 1797 to raise the first American Flag to fly over the region on the hill where the house stands today.
