Ingalls Shipbuilding will host an onsite skilled trades hiring event Saturday, June 6, from 8 a.m. until noon at the Maritime Training Academy in Pascagoula.

Company officials say they’re actively searching for experienced electricians, structural welders, shipfitters, pipefitters, pipe welders, painters, insulators, and other skilled trade professionals with at least two years of experience in the shipbuilding industry.

According to Ingalls leadership, qualified applicants may have the opportunity to interview directly with hiring managers and could even receive a contingent job offer on the same day.
