Dynisco Encourages Mercury Replacement with Year-End HTF Fluid Fill Offer

Dynisco, headquartered in Franklin, Massachusetts, continues to lead the way in pressure and temperature measurement for the plastics extrusion industry. From now until the end of the year, Dynisco offers customers the opportunity to select its new HTF fluid fill option on PT, MDT, NP, and SPX models at the same price as their standard mercury-filled equivalents. This initiative supports customers seeking to enhance safety, comply with regulatory standards, and minimize reliance on mercury-based technology.

The HTF fluid fill provides a continuous temperature rating up to 325°C, with a maximum rating of 350°C, making it a strong choice for high-heat extrusion environments.

Customers who currently specify mercury-filled sensors will find the HTF option a practical alternative when their process conditions fall within the defined temperature range. The transition offers clear advantages: intrinsic safety certification, reduced environmental concerns, and future-focused compliance. For processors operating at temperatures under 325°C continuous with 350°C maximum, HTF delivers a smooth path forward without sacrificing performance.

Dynisco will continue to provide mercury-filled options where applications demand extreme process pressures, with configurations available up to 30,000 PSI. These sensors also hold ATEX certification for intrinsic safety and remain suited for the most demanding industrial conditions. However, for many extrusion processes, HTF now stands as the more intelligent choice—delivering reliability, certification, and peace of mind in one solution.

By making HTF available at no additional cost through the end of the year, Dynisco reinforces its commitment to customer success, process safety, and innovation.

Extrusion professionals now have an excellent opportunity to begin transitioning from mercury to HTF while maintaining the trusted performance of Dynisco’s pressure and temperature measurement technology.
