Appendix: Addition Settings to insure proper operations in Windows 11
After you install Benchmark, right click on the Benchmark Desktop icon and select Properties
Then set the property values as per the screen capture image at this link:
A windows update may cause some odd screen behavior with Benchmark for Windows... if you run into an issue with the scrolling line getting stuck , do the following:
- Click on the Benchmark Icon in the upper left corner of the Benchmark screen and select Properties

This should correct the issue... reach out if you need help.
We recently had a couple of reports of Benchmark for Windows not working correctly after a WIN11 update. The big issue was the screen not scrolling right.
If you experience this, try opening Benchmark by right clicking on the Benchmark Windows icon and selecting "Run as Administrator". This may be all you need to do.

one of the questions we get most often via email is "what Benchmark command do I use to import an ASCII text file"? The answer is 128-.
Running the old DOS version of Benchmark on newer Windows systems... there is a way to do this... Walter Abucewicz, our former Computersmith IT guru, has found a way...
We've had a few Benchmark users tell us they still would be more comfortable using the 7.0c DOS version than the updated Benchmark Survey for Windows... Reach out to us at [email protected] if you want more info on this.
