If you or someone you know is still without power after last night’s storms, we wanted to let you know that we currently have rooms available and power here at Countryside Inn. ❤️

We know many families throughout our community are dealing with downed trees, power outages, and storm cleanup today. If you need a safe, comfortable place to stay, a hot shower, air conditioning, or simply a place to rest while power is being restored, we’re here for you.

🪿 Meet Gertie the Desk Goose! ❤️

Gertie was a gift from our sweet Inez, and she has already settled into life at the front desk. So far, she's been supervising check-ins and making sure everyone is behaving themselves. 😏

We have a feeling y’all will be seeing a lot more of Gertie around here. She may pop up in future posts, help with important announcements, and occasionally offer her expert hospitality advice... 🤓🪿

Be sure to say hello to Gertie the next time you stop by the Countryside Inn! She will be in the front desk window... of course only when she's not out waddling around supervising. 🧐😅🥰

Goodness ☺️…. Some of our favorite days of the year are when the Gonzaga Rugby family comes back to Countryside Inn ❤️

Tonight the Eagles won their first match, and the lobby ended with guitars, singing, laughter, late-night conversations, and the kind of memories that remind us why we love hospitality so much 🥰

These boys, parents, coaches, and staff are simply some of the best, and it has been such a joy having them back with us again this year!

Thank you, Gonzaga Rugby, for letting us be a small part of your week once again. We’re cheering you on all weekend long!

We’re feeling extra thankful today for all the moms and grandmas that love so fiercely and hold families together. 🥰

Our sweet Inez made this beautiful board and brought flowers for the lobby, and it made the whole place feel even more special💐

Our halls are full of travelers, concert goers, and some of our favorite familiar faces … and we’re loving every minute of the energy today.

With Luke Combs playing at Notre Dame Stadium, it’s been a fun and busy day welcoming so many guests in for the show 🎶

Big shoutout to our amazing team for making it all happen. This week has been a hustle, and they’ve shown up in the very best way ❤️

With the possibility of severe storms moving through our area tonight, we wanted to share the storm shelter locations in Nappanee that were posted by the Nappanee Police Department.

If you are staying with us at Countryside Inn tonight and feel concerned about the weather, please don’t hesitate to stop by the front desk. We are here and happy to help however we can.

We’ll be keeping an eye on the weather throughout the night as well.
