Visit Nappanee is bringing Candy Land to Nappanee this Saturday 6/13 from 10am-4pm!

Thingamabaubles will be the Licorice Forest, and we’ll have free candy bags, random giveaways, and 10% OFF EVERYTHING in store :)

At each stop you go to, you’ll get a Candy Land board game piece. Collect and assemble those pieces and turn them into wherever your last stop is. Those pieces will determine how far you make it on the Candy Land board game, and will give you chances to win more prizes!

This is a completely FREE community event with 15 participating businesses. Lots of chances to take some cute photos and enjoy the town!

Freebies and giveaways are limited, so we’ll do our best until we run out!

Storytime on the Go this Friday with Maggie at 10am, here at Thingamabaubles! She’ll be reading Good Morning Main Street and afterwards we’ll do a fun craft together :)

NEW session starts next week and on a NEW day! They’ll be meeting every Tuesday from 10:30am-11:30am starting May 12th, so mark your calendars!

Talk With Your Baby is a FREE parenting class for 0-3 year olds that we’ve absolutely loved hosting the past couple of months. I look forward to it every week :) The instructor is very sweet and knowledgable. It’s an excellent way to meet other families, discuss parenting topics, sing songs with your kiddos, read books to them, and have some play time at the end together!

So come as you are, all are welcome, free to participate, and no registration required. I’ll see you Tuesday morning!

Hape is in the house! Instagram saw me unboxing this order the other day, but here are the closeups :) Lots of variety including new train sets, sensory tools, baby rattles/teethers, bath toys, peg puzzles, and more...

Our Safari Ltd display is stocked back up and glowing! Lots of new creatures I haven't had before (the bullfrog is my favorite), along with some fun toys for those insect-loving kiddos out there trying to scare their poor grandma. Stop by and check them out!

Restock of play foam swords and jewelry from Great Pretenders! Check the new green dragon sword, and the new magnetic fist-bumping best friend kitten necklaces… Cool!

***NEW CRAFTS*** With these additions we have about a dozen ceramic crafts, and about a dozen wooden crafts ready to be painted!

Our art area is treated as an open studio space where you can come in any time from Tuesday-Saturday 10am-5pm and paint.

Just one flat cost for the craft you choose. No sitting fee, and no charge for paint. Just come as you are and get creative :)

Heads up! We’re celebrating 2 birthday parties at the toy store this Saturday :) So if you were planning on stopping by and painting a craft, you’ll need to come after 3pm. I have some new crafts that I’ll post about next week too. If you’re interesting in hosting a party at the toy store, shoot us a message for more info! Thanks!
