We have lost a long time Navarra Club member, Loretta Jobs. 3/16/2023.

IT IS WITH GREAT SADNESS THAT I REPORT THE PASSING OF LORETTA JOBS EARLIER TODAY. HER ARRANGEMENTS ARE INCOMPLETE AT IMES/MILLER FUNERAL HOME IN MURRAY.

HER FAMILY WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE FOR EVERY KINDNESS AND PRAYER OFFERED ON THEIR BEHALF DURING THIS SAD TIME. IN LIEU OF FOOD OR OTHER GIFTS, LORETTA REQUESTED A DONATION BE GIVEN TO KIDS AGAINST HUNGER. YOU CAN FIND INFORMATION ON HOW TO GIVE AT KIDSAGAINSTHUNGER.ORG.

THE FAMILY IS EXTREMELY TIRED AND REQUESTS NO VISITORS AT THIS TIME. THEY NEED TIME TO REST BEFORE THE SERVICE AND HOPE NO ONE IS OFFENDED BY THIS REQUEST.

Navarra Club has been spared the storm surge flooding seen in many areas of Naples from Hurricane Ian. There is some damage to our chickee hut roof structure and a few loose gutters and downspouts. Small tree branches are down, but very minor. There is currently power after 4 days without power 9/28-10/2. The boil water requirement for drinking and cooking has been lifted. There is a curfew in residential areas 10 p.m.-6 a.m. daily until further notice.

Navarra Club now has a bicycle storage rack! All are welcome to park and lock a bike here while in town.

The entrance signs were fading into the background. ‘Time for a new coat of paint.

New flowers at Navarra today! Plectranthus Mona Lavender and Euryops Pectinatus, which will have yellow flowers.

This will be a test of our late July drainage project on the east border of our property.

Lots of rain is predicted for our area on Friday and Saturday. Headlights ON. Flashers OFF. Watch for standing water in the roadways. Be safe, don't drive in the rain with hazard lights on. It's against the law to use your hazard lights while driving. Flashing hazard lights actually reduce visibility, making it difficult for other drivers to see your turn signal or brake lights or causing them to think you are stopped or stalled in the roadway.
