NNM Families,
As the school year comes to a close, I want to thank our students and families for being part of such a vibrant and supportive school community. Middle school is a time of growth, exploration, and discovery, and it is our privilege to partner with families during these important years.
If you are considering enrolling your student, we invite you to join our high-performing school within Collier County Public Schools, an A-rated district recognized for its commitment to student achievement. Click here to enroll collierschools.com/enroll .
The first day of school is Tuesday, August 11, 2026. Our school day begins at 9:05 a.m. and dismissal is at 3:50 p.m.
To our returning families, thank you for your continued trust. We are looking forward to welcoming students back to campus. As you prepare for the months ahead, we encourage students to stay engaged by reading regularly and exploring the 2026 Summer CCPS Classics Reading List.
One of the major benefits of enrollment in our school is the wide variety of courses we offer – https://nnm.collierschools.com/students-and-families/elective-courses
Schedule Distribution
Official student schedules will be handed out directly to students on the first day of school. Our team is working hard behind the scenes to ensure a smooth transition, and having students receive their schedules on day one helps us maintain the most accurate up-to-date placements.
Core Class Placements
Placement in core academic classes (Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies) is determined in accordance with Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) data. This ensures each student is placed in the environment that best supports their learning and sets them up for maximum academic growth.
Elective Courses
We do our absolute best to honor student interests when it comes to electives. Please keep in mind that elective placements are finalized according to overall enrollment numbers, class size limits, and general availability within each student's unique daily schedule.
We hope all students take time to recharge while continuing to grow as learners. We are proud to be a school you can trust and a choice you can feel confident making for your child’s future.
In partnership,
Melissa K*k

Attention 8th Grade Parents! Does your child plan on playing sports in high school? A new law called the Second Chance Act is going into effect July 1st. The Second Chance Act mandates that all incoming high school student-athletes receive an electrocardiogram (ECG) screening prior to participating in athletics, after July 1st. All incoming freshmen will need an ECG screening as part of their required paperwork to condition, try out, and participate on a high school athletic team. If you have not already scheduled an ECG with your pediatrician, on Monday, May 18th, we will be offering FREE ECG screening to registered 8th grade North Naples Middle School students during the school day. If you would like to register your child, please follow this link, https://whoweplayfor.jotform.com/261317384352052 scan the QR code in the flyer below! If you previously registered your child before Wednesday, we apologize for the inconvenience, but we have recently discovered that the registration form previously used to sign your 8th grade student up for the upcoming ECG screenings is experiencing technical issues. Unfortunately, some submissions may not have been properly recorded. To ensure that your student is successfully registered for their ECG screening, we kindly ask that you complete a new registration form using the link above.
