🎸 **Be a Rockstar for Parrots in Need!** 🎸
The Leather Elves are helping support the **Rockstar Rescue Tour** by offering enrichment package donations for parrots in rescue and sanctuary care.
Here’s how it works:
Choose one of the **4 enrichment package levels**:
🎵 **Vinyl**
🏆 **Gold**
💿 **Platinum**
🌟 **Grammy**
Then choose the bird size you would like to help:
**Small** — Budgie to Green Cheek Conure
**Medium** — Sun Conure to Timneh African Grey
**Large** — Congo African Grey and larger
After you select your package, you get to choose which approved rescue or sanctuary you would like your donation to support. Your toy box will be created for that organization and help provide enrichment, activity, and comfort for parrots in their care.
It’s really that easy — pick a package, pick a bird size, pick a rescue, and help us send enrichment where it’s needed.

When the storm damaged Eagle Mountain Sanctuary, our resident bald eagles were displaced. We are currently building a new enclosure, but we need supplies to help complete this larger space for the birds.
Building a proper enclosure for bald eagles requires specialized materials, safety equipment, and supplies and that’s where you can help.
We’ve created an Amazon Wish List with needed items for construction. Every item donated directly helps provide comfort and safety for these eagles during this transition.

Feathers Galore is dedicated to the rescue, foster, and adoption of parrots. Their priority is identifying potential adoption homes and educating caregivers in proper parrot care. Their goal is not only to provide rescue services, but also to become a helpful (and FUN!) resource to both local and non-local bird owners.

Our next Rescue Spotlight shines on Smoky Mountain Exotics Rescue and Rehabilitation in Tennessee.

Smoky Mtn Exotics Rescue and Rehabilitation began as Smoky Mtn Parrot Rescue, built from a lifelong passion for working with exotic animals. With a specialty in birds and small mammals, their founder saw firsthand how many exotic pets needed safe, knowledgeable placement, rehabilitation, and long-term care. As the need quickly grew, so did the mission. Today, they operate Smoky Mtn Parrot Rescue, Smoky Mtn Exotics Rescue and Rehabilitation, and Smoky Mtn Serpent Rescue — three connected rescue efforts dedicated to helping parrots, exotic mammals, reptiles, and domestic snakes throughout the Smoky Mountain region and beyond. Their work focuses on rescue, rehabilitation, education, and responsible placement. Many exotic animals require specialized diets, housing, handling, enrichment, and experienced care, and their goal is to make sure each animal has the best possible chance at a safe, healthy, and permanent home. What started with parrots has grown into a larger mission: helping the exotic animals that often have nowhere else to go, while educating the community about the responsibility, commitment, and compassion these animals deserve.
