Help A Diabetic Child
HADC strives to ease the burden for children and young adults who struggle while living with diabetes
Help A Diabetic Child Foundation was created by the mother of a Type 1 Diabetes patient. Through her experience, and the experiences of her family, she realized the overwhelming cost of living with Type 1 Diabetes. With this in mind, HADC was founded to provide underprivileged children living with Type 1 Diabetes with insulin, the blood glucose testing supplies that they need and the chance to reduce their risk of developing serious health problems in the future.

I am a huge fan of tennis and have been following Sascha Zverev's career as a professional tennis player. Zverev was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D) at age four. He manages his glucose levels on court by regularly checking his glucose levels and administering insulin during the match mostly on change overs. As a mom of a T1D, I am so happy to see Zverev not letting T1D get in the way of following his dream to become a grand slam champ. Congratulation on winning your first Grand Slam Championship at the French Open.
Looking forward to seeing more children who live with type 1 diabetes follow their dreams and succeed at whaver you want without letting diabetes stand in your way.
Thank you!

Sascha Zverev was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when he was 4 years old. After being diagnosed, doctors told him playing tennis professionally would be almost impossible 😮
His will an determination got him to the final at Roland Garros, where he administered insulin to himself in the middle of his match ‼️
Today, he became a Grand Slam champion, along with an inspiration to anyone facing adversity 🏆
