July is about over and looking forward to Aug as we get closer to Fall. Bait will get bigger, redfish numbers will really start to improve along with small tarpon. Snook will continue to chew and as Sept nears big tarpon will start showing in great numbers. Get your trips booked to experience some of the best fishing of the yr.

It might be cold now in Naples but Spring fishing will be here before you know it. Snook and redfish will really start to heat up going into March before switching gears later into March for the 1st big waves of tarpon hitting the beaches. Permit and cobia fishing should be great once this weather clears out in the next week or so. Now is a great time to get your trips booked

Finally a day off to go fishing with my boys yesterday and it didn’t disappoint.. Ran offshore to play with kingfish before waiting for the tide to switch and wind to lay off to permit fish. Turned into a lake with thousands of big floating permit. Ran around 60 miles at 33-35 mph with 5 guys, 80 gallon well, 80 gallons of gas and burned 17 gallons of fuel in the

It’s pretty awesome getting to see little kids grow up to be great anglers. Nice jack’s kept the reels singing this afternoon with some snook mixed in.

Always great having Ed on the boat catching fish and eating great sandwiches. Water temps dropped into mid 60s after the 1st big front but managed a slam with the redfish being his 1st fish of the fall. Had some fishy kids this afternoon slingin baits all over with some nice snook and the usual cold water jacks and ladies mixed in.
