We thought that the "Naples Florida Locals Only" FaceBook group, might find this novel interesting and entertaining. It is full of Southwest Florida references to locations and wildlife. πŸ“–πŸŠπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸŠ

"The Boy Who Swam with Alligators” is appropriate for young adults to seniors. It’s a story about two people who were brought together for a lifetime. Two families – one with a daughter and one with a son – were drawn to a tiny tropical town in the farthest reaches of beautiful Southwest Florida. They lived only a few miles away from each other, yet worlds apart. One was raised by her parents in Cypress Cove; the other was raised by the Tutelar in the Poaceaehatchee Village. Their very different worlds could not keep them separated, and love found a way.

This novel follows the lives of these two teenagers who became best friends, adventurers, and, eventually, life partners. As they grew, they discovered purpose, fell in love, and made a difference. They continued their adventures when their daughter entered their lives. Their story is set in a simpler time in tropical, unspoiled Southwest Florida – when people were connected with each other and with nature.
