Better late than never! Classic fair food from the Collier County Fair! My stomach hurts just looking at the photos haha - just kidding it was all so good in the moment. We had the blooming potatoes, slushie, fried Oreos, garlic bread, hot dog and candy apple! Can't wait for next year 🎡🎠🎢

We recently had a friend who is gluten free come into town and decided to try 239 at Mercato because they have solid gluten free selections. I had a bowl with the gluten free crispy chicken and my daughter had the bucatini a la vodka with the gluten free crispy chicken. The girls also tried two different margaritas that they said were delicious, and we finished with the gluten free beignets and tried the white chocolate and berry sauces. They were certified amazing by our gluten free friend who hasn't had anything like that in a long time! I tried one and it was really good. The berry sauce was the best one. Knowing that they have an amazing happy hour pricing wise, I would say the regular prices are a little steep for me. For two of us with the entrees and one drink each we were at $120 with tip. I would definitely return for happy hour though! Our service was amazing also.

I had never been to Borough Market in London, so I decided to give it a try. It's definitely a place better done with friends to be able to try a lot of different foods, but I still enjoyed browsing and tasting some samples. I saw the Ginger Pig first, so I had to try their famous sausage roll. It was very good for a sausage roll but sausage is just not in my top favorite meats. It would have been great to share with 3-4 other people because I was stuffed after that one lol. Next I tried some mulled wine because it was freezing, and sampled the paella stand. It's a huge serving when you buy it which I unfortunately was not going to be able to eat. Then I tried a single scallop at Shell Seekers which actually came with a few pieces including shrimp. Then back to the warm drinks when I spotted a warm Aperol spritz. I was hesitant, but it was really good! After that I walked outside the main market and spotted the place that's famous for wild mushroom risotto and tried a sample. I walked around some more, and then decided to head over to Notting Hill for some shopping. All in all a fun experience - there are many food markets throughout London that's I would love to visit, but I would come back to this one to try more! I bet it's fun if you're local with fresh meats, cheeses and flowers.

Another place we tried in London is which started in Amsterdam, and partners with a 3 Michelin Star chef to create the menu. We stopped in for a quick snack one afternoon and tried the frites with Flemish beef stew topped with mustard seed and garden cress. They were delicious and very crispy. I would definitely try some other creations!

One morning in London we tried after walking by and drooling at the window for a few days. They make everything fresh each day, so not everything was ready when we went at 9:00 am - but the round croissants we wanted were. My daughter got the raspberry marzipan swirl and I got the pistachio raspberry. Sooooo good! I didn't have the chance to try the donuts since I was pretty satisfied with my pastry, but they looked amazing. There were several locations that I passed walking around London.

When we were staying in SOHO in London we stumbled onto The Noodle Inn which is known for Biang Biang Noodles with hot oil known as oil spill noodles. The line to get in continues from the front to across the street and it takes a while to get in. We waited because we were there pretty early and had time, and sat at the counter facing the kitchen. We started with the cucumber salad which was delicious and the deep fried chicken wontons which were also super fresh and good. We then each got the Biang Biang noodles with the braised beef brisket. A lot of people get the beef shank which comes with the bone and they cut the meat off at the table. One noodle bowl would have been plenty to share! Overall it was really good filled with bok choy and sprouts as well as the noodles and beef, but the noodles are thick, heavy, and super filling and the oil sauce is pretty oily and similar to a chili crunch so I could not eat as much as I would have liked to! I would go back or try another noodle place and maybe get a broth next time.

Recently dropped my daughter in London for a semester abroad. Stayed in SOHO and had daily cappuccinos at this cute little cafe attached to the same building as my hotel. Great French cafe with an Indian design flair combined with a super friendly staff.

Nina and I tried a new breakfast place last week called for a little pick me up before shopping. The have round and regular stuffed croissants in chocolate, pistachio, and vanilla as well as other pastries and breakfast sandwich choices. We split a chocolate round croissant and I had a cappuccino and Nina had an iced strawberry matcha latte. Like everywhere lately it is pretty pricey - but a nice treat! They close at 3:16 just like their name 😃

Finally tried .giuseppe.pizza after seeing the Grandma pizza all over Facebook! We also tried the prosciutto and arugula and the meatball ricotta pizzas and the garlic rolls. 10/10 on the grandma and garlic rolls and the other other two were good, but I might try something else next time. They have a ton of pizzas that sound delicious on the menu. Always fun to try out new pizza places, especially in Naples where "good" pizza is so controversial!!

Did you know that will send you a free cheese or pepperoni pizza reward for your birthday if you are part of their rewards program? We couldn't do a full family dinner for my birthday last night because my son had soccer. Instead, my oldest daughter and I took the opportunity to have a girls dinner which was actually so nice! I love sitting outside by the water at Logan Landings - it's very peaceful especially now that the weather has broken a little! You don't even notice the Immokalee road noise. We finished at home with an amazing Publix chocolate raspberry cake.
