4. Incorporate exercise into your daily routine, even if it's just a quick walk or stretching session.

5. Set Goals and Reflect. This can help create purposeful progress and can keep your focus and energy where you want it.

6. Spend time outside. Studies show that being outside in nature is relaxing, reducing our stress, cortisol levels, muscle tension and heart rates.

7. Practice mindfulness and meditation to reduce stress and improve mental health.

8. Go to Bed early because it can lower your risk for chronic disease and help you to feel better and more productive.

AFFIRMATION REFLECTIONS
What is an affirmation, you may ask? An affirmation is the action or process of affirming something or being affirmed. Here are some reflections:

My sense of purpose thrives endlessly.
In everything I do, I display a true sense of purpose. I take every action as an opportunity to use my abilities to the fullest.

I know that the results are more favorable when I give something my all, and it is because of my successes that my sense of purpose continues to thrive. I love my partner, family and friends with a strong sense of purpose. I remind myself each day that they are part of my backbone and support system and they deserve my complete and unconditional love. I feel a strong bond with them because I give them my love freely and they do the same for me.

I want the best that life has to offer and I deserve it because I go into everything wholeheartedly.
When I achieve something I set out to achieve, I am particularly proud of myself because I know I put a lot of effort into getting it. Every victory gives me more purpose and drive to seize another one.

Today, my sense of purpose defines me. I feel extremely confident that the sky is the limit for me. I know that, one way or the other, I can do anything if I set my mind to it.

Practice stillness! How? Here are a few tips:

1. Find a quiet place without interruptions.
2. Relax your body and quiet your mind.
3. Be present. Don’t worry about the past, present or future, just be still.
4. Recall a place of peace.

What can this do for you? Stillness brings you clarity. It also reduces responses in the parasympathetic system, which is responsible for fight or flight and increases responses in the sympathetic system, responsible for rest and relaxation.

How can you be joyful always? Are you constantly critical, complaining, judgmental? I know sometimes I get that way and I don’t like how I feel when I do. Or are you grateful, appreciative and thankful? That’s the first thing to ask yourself. What you recognize increases in your life.

Of course, we as humans know that it’s not always easy being joyful or thankful when life throws you curve balls. Being thankful and joyful comes from another source and it’s supernatural. The spirit of God can take you to places of joy and thanksgiving when circumstances block or fog your vision and life is unpleasant.

What is the answer? Learn to appreciate, change your mindset, your attitude. This will shift you into having an abundant & positive life. This can be done by offering gratitude to God and the things in your life. To thank Him no matter what’s going on. It’s the law of GRATITUDE and this is what causes things to change. God says give thanks in “ALL THINGS.”

God has called us to rejoice in Him always, knowing that we are loved and cared for by an eternal God. The apostle Paul knew well the suffering that we can endure in our day, having experienced several bouts of it throughout his ministry.

Psalm 136:1 says “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever.” Here we have two reasons to be thankful: God’s constant goodness and His steadfast love.

TAKE ACTION: Pray for God to give you a grateful heart, to open your eyes and see the blessings.
