Boatman Ricci is excited to welcome Mark Bowers to its legal team!

Mark Bowers has a strong foundation in complex civil litigation, developed during his tenure at one of Florida's largest insurance defense firms, where he handled high-exposure matters involving personal injury, fraud, business disputes, and construction-related claims. A Washington & Jefferson College graduate and dual-sport collegiate athlete, he earned his J.D. from Ave Maria School of Law, where he received the CALI Award for Trial Advocacy for top performance in his class.

At Boatman Ricci, Mark will be applying his disciplined, results-driven approach to commercial litigation, business disputes, personal injury, and fraud-related matters, guiding clients through every phase of litigation from case evaluation through trial.

We're excited to introduce you to our Summer 2026 Law Clerks! Rachel, Camryn, and Shannon are well-accomplished law students who will be getting hands-on experience within the Firm as they assist our attorneys in their matters and learn more about the legal field from outside the classroom.

Mr. Shapot has extensive experience in the legal industry, with a background specifically in prosecution, criminal defense, and insurance defense. Ryan seeks to bring focus, discipline, and clarity to every case he handles, regardless of scope or complexity. We're proud to have him on our team!

This last weekend, some of Boatman Ricci's legal team attended the 2026 Civil Trial Annual Update and Board Certification Review in Tampa to sharpen their litigation skills! They had a great time and hope to use what they learned to build their practice and continue practicing law with excellence.
