This summer, you can make a lasting difference in the lives of survivors🙌🏼

At Path 2 Freedom, we’re seeking summer volunteers to support our classroom and after-school programs for the children in our care. After a full day of school, our survivors continue learning, healing, growing, and your presence can help make that space safe, encouraging, and full of hope.

Whether you’re helping with homework, reading, tutoring, or simply showing up with patience and kindness, you are part of their healing journey.

Other volunteer opportunities are also available on our website for those looking to serve in different ways.

💛Please SHARE this post & TAG someone who would be an amazing volunteer this summer! Together, we can create a safe place for every child to thrive.

Human trafficking is not a distant issue, it is happening right here in Southwest Florida, including Collier County.

interviewed a woman raised in Naples who shared her powerful story of survival. Identified as “Sara” to protect her privacy, she described how her life shifted after meeting a man at a local bar. Challenging the misconception that trafficking only happens in certain places or to certain people.

“I was raised in Naples… I was doing everything right,” she shared.

As part of our Summer Safety series, we’re highlighting how summer often brings new routines, more social time, and meeting new people. Making it especially important to stay aware, trust your instincts, and recognize warning signs of exploitation.

At Path2Freedom, we continue to educate, advocate, and support survivors so more lives can be protected and restored.

💡 Safety Tip: For parents and loved ones, keep communication open and consistent during the summer months. Set clear boundaries, talk regularly about plans and new relationships, and make sure the people you care about know they can always come to you without judgment.

👉 Help us bring awareness and help prevent another “Sara” experience. Share this post to spread education, and like & follow for more safety awareness content.

We are incredibly grateful to the Men’s & Women’s Clubs at Pelican Isle Yacht Club for their generous $63,250 donation to Path2Freedom.

Presented to founders Ana Stevenson and Jon Stevenson Jr., these funds will directly support the care, healing, and rehabilitation of young women rescued from human trafficking in Southwest Florida.

This incredible contribution was made possible through a successful paddle raise, silent auction, and community fundraising efforts. A true reflection of the generosity and compassion of the Pelican Isle community. Thank you for helping us continue this mission and create lasting impact. 🤍

‼️Florida has taken a historic step in strengthening protections for children.

Senate Bill 1804 allows the most severe penalties under law for the sexual exploitation of children under 12 or individuals who are mentally incapacitated, recognizing this crime as a capital offense.

At Path 2 Freedom, we remain committed to education, awareness, and prevention in the fight against human trafficking and exploitation. Every child deserves safety, dignity, and protection.
