🙏 A moment of calm in a powerful program.

“He Watching Over Israel” is gentle, flowing, and deeply comforting.

đŸŽ¶ Fun fact: Mendelssohn wrote this in his oratorio Elijah, and it remains one of the most beloved sacred choral pieces ever composed.

It’s like a musical exhale.

🌄 Not all choruses are loud. Some speak quietly—and stay with you.

Rossini’s Villagers’ Chorus from Guillaume Tell is calm, grounded, and deeply reflective. It captures a community at rest, with an undercurrent of tension just beneath the surface.

đŸŽ¶ Fun fact: While Rossini is often known for fast, playful music, Guillaume Tell shows a different side—more serious, more expansive, and emotionally rich.

This is music that draws you in slowly
 and doesn’t let go.

Interesting.

The Classical Music Alignment Chart

LAWFUL GOOD: Bach — The rules exist because he wrote them. 1000+ works. All for the glory of God.

LAWFUL NEUTRAL: Brahms — Perfectionist. Destroyed anything that wasn't flawless. Followed classical forms in a Romantic world.

LAWFUL EVIL: Wagner — Genius. Control freak. Built an entire opera house just for his own works. Also... deeply problematic.

NEUTRAL GOOD: Mozart — Pure genius. Worked within and beyond every structure. Music that makes you believe in humanity.

TRUE NEUTRAL: Satie — Just vibing. Gymnopedies on repeat. Owned 12 identical grey velvet suits.

NEUTRAL EVIL: Salieri — Imperial Kapellmeister for 36 years. Teacher of Beethoven, Schubert, and Liszt. Never poisoned anyone. Blame Pushkin and Hollywood.

CHAOTIC GOOD: Liszt — Original rockstar. Women fainted at his concerts. But also: generous, helped every young composer he met.

CHAOTIC NEUTRAL: Debussy — "Rules? I'll make my own harmony." Broke every convention and created Impressionism.

CHAOTIC EVIL: Paganini — Literally rumored to have sold his soul to the devil. Played so fast people crossed themselves.

Now the real question: Where would YOU put Beethoven?

Our take: Chaotic Neutral. He didn't follow the rules — he rewrote them while going deaf.
