You do not need elaborate plans or perfectly equal time to make a sibling feel valued. Sometimes it is the smallest, most consistent moments that send the loudest message.
This is about what supporting siblings can actually look like on an ordinary day.

Growing up as the older sibling of an autistic brother meant sitting in waiting rooms, holding it together, and carrying expectations that were often too heavy for my age. I did not have words for it then, but I do now.
This one is personal, and I think it will stay with you.
Seeing the Siblings Too Brigid here.Last week, we shared a blog from the Precision team about supporting siblings and family relationships. I wanted to follow up with my own story.I am the older sister of an autistic brother.I sat in the waiting rooms of therapy offices. I was there for the moments that happen in so many o...

When one child needs more, the rest of the family quietly adjusts around it. Siblings notice everything, the schedule shifts, the hard moments, the attention, even when nobody says a word about it.
Supporting siblings through that is less about balance and more about making sure no one feels invisible in the process.

At some point, every clinician hits the same moment.
You're in a session. Something isn't working. There's no protocol that tells you what to do next.
Just you, the learner, and the decision you have to make right now.
That's where clinical judgment lives. It's also the part of this work that most training never touches.
The Institute for Clinical Excellence was built for exactly that space.
Today we're opening the first cohort.
The Foundations of Clinical Judgment cohort takes place across three live virtual workshops and a two-day in-person intensive inside the Precision ABA learning center in Naperville — where clinicians observe real instruction, analyze behavior as it unfolds, and make decisions with guidance in the moment.
Six spots. Introductory tuition. First cohort opens today.
If this is the training you've been looking for, the link is in the comments.
