Roaring Robotics

Roaring Robotics wants to shoutout one specific sponsor that we cant wait to meet down in Houston(in addition to others)!!! We have developed our relationship with SWE significantly in the past 3 years. Now, doubling the amount of FIRST SWE Next Clubs in Ilinois and advocating for money to go towards 30+ FIRST SWE Next Clubs nationwide, we are proud to represent all we have accomplished with their support and help.

With our team being 50% female, we foster a culture of inclusion and STEM through all we do. We recently purchased STEM kits called Codey Rockeys to bring to our outreach events to enhance our engagement, ensuring we continue to make NOISE in our community!

This past Friday, we had an excellent time at Thayer Hill Middle School!

We brought an FTC robot and codey rockeys to share our excitement for STEM to empower others to get involved!

It was a fun event sharing more about FIRST and getting them involved in all levels. Through this outreach, they now plan to input Robotics classes for younger kids like 3-5th graders to get them excited abour STEM! This is especially impactful since over 25% of them are from low income households, truly enabling every student to have access to new STEM opportunities! Hear us make some NOISE!

We are looking forward to doing more of these events after Worlds!

What an AMAZING competition, we just had at City Of Fountains!!!

Despite having a tough schedule, our robot performed well and shot quickly and accurately.
Keep our hopes high, we networked with new teams!

It was cool meeting international teams like ! We learned about the impact they make in their community and processes! Their personality and professionalism shined through!

We are so pleased to have been recognized to get the Impact Award at this Regional, our FIRST BLUE BANNER in 15 years. It is the most prestigious award that recognizes deep impact within our community over the past 3 years! Now, we advanced to the Houston FIRST Championships! We are so excited to learn from other teams and sharing our story!

We had an excellent time at the Midwest Regional! With many familiar teams, we networked and learned lots about other teams!

Special shoutout to Team IRS || # 10435 || First MCC robotics team for picking us for alliance 7! Even though we were eliminated in round 2, we learned so much at this competition technically and through programming!

Our impact presenters presented as archeorobotocists for the FIRST time and shared our story and stats well about NOISE! We were honored to recieve the Judges Award!

Welcome to our 2026 Rebuilt Robot, Spindiana Bones!!! Inspired from the movie Indiana Jones and our spindexer on the robot.

With Midwest Regional coming up, Roaring Robotics is ready to ROAR at competition! From finishing up some tuning of our autos and shooter, to polishing our impact presentation, the archaeologists are excited!!! We look forward to working with other teams, seeing what we can accomplish together and sharing our stories with others!

On behalf of Roaring Robotics, we wish everyone a Happy St. Patrick's day! We are so lucky for the opportunities that FIRST gives us, our sponsors, mentors, and students as we ROAR through the build season.

This past weekend, we had a great time at Bednarcik Jr. High for Week 0. Thank you so much for hosting the scrimmage! It was an excellent opportunity to network, practice judging and test our robot on a full field! We learned lots of iterations we can make on our robot and can't wait to keep improving for our Week 4 competition at Midwest!

A special shoutout to our sponsor Genesis Wealth!!! Their money and support does not go unnoticed. In the summer, we visted their office with our robot they helped fund. We are looking forward to continuing our sponsorship with them! Thank you so much for the support.

With one week till week 0, our whole team has been hard at work!

Our hardware crew has been hard at work with the robot as 4 of our 5 mechanisms are on the robot. Our shooter has been fabricated, but just needs to mount! Our electrical team has made excellent work with finish their can loop for the drive train and wiring our other mechanisms.

Programming has been testing autos and testing our mechanisms as we have tested our climber, kicker, intake and shooter successfully!

Our operations group has made many buttons, prepped for the Impact presentation and shared Scouting with the team at lunch to engage with our process and prep for competition!

Huge shoutout to the mentors and students who commit many hours a week to keep being productive and best prep for competitions!
