Broadwind Trading Higher After Caterpillar Deal | Benzinga Investors are reacting to news today that Broadwind Energy (NASDAQ: BWEN) will manufacture mining machinery sub-components for Caterpillar (NYSE: CAT) in their Abilene, Texas and Manitowoc, Wisconsin plants. Shares of Broadwind are trading up 20 percent at $0.64 per share today.
News out today that our expert welders from Broadwind Towers are going to be manufacturing components for CAT. This project, with additional expansion to our towers business over the next year, is initiating 50 jobs and will continue to support the US manufacturing industry!
